1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, buying a course or using the Language Seva platform, you agree to these terms and our privacy and refund policies. If you use the platform for an organisation or a learner in your care, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for them.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate information, keep your login details private and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised use. One account is for one learner unless we expressly approve another arrangement. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. Courses and access
Each course page describes the current curriculum, duration, requirements, trainer or faculty, included resources and certificate conditions. We may make reasonable changes to lesson order, examples, trainer assignment or class timing to improve delivery. Material changes that affect a paid learner will be communicated.
Course access begins after successful payment or an authorised administrator enrolment. The access period, live-class schedule and any cohort end date shown at checkout or inside the course form part of your purchase.
4. Live classes
Join classes on time, use your enrolled identity and follow trainer instructions. Class links are private and must not be shared. We may reschedule a class because of trainer availability, technical problems or circumstances beyond reasonable control; where practical, a replacement class or recording will be provided.
5. Respectful participation
Do not harass another person, impersonate someone, disrupt a class, upload unlawful or harmful content, attempt to bypass access controls, scrape the platform, share paid materials, introduce malware or use another learner's work as your own. We may remove content or suspend access while investigating a serious breach.
6. Payments, coupons and tax
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay using the methods it supports. International cards, EMI or instalment options depend on gateway and issuer availability. Coupons are subject to their stated validity, eligibility and usage limit and cannot be exchanged for cash. Applicable tax and invoice details are shown during or after checkout.
7. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our refund policy. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. Payment-provider processing time is outside our direct control.
8. Intellectual property
Language Seva and its licensors own the platform, course structure, videos, audio, notes, worksheets, assessments, branding and other provided material. A paid enrolment gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use course material for your own learning during the access period. You may not copy, record, sell, publish, redistribute or make the material publicly available.
You retain ownership of original work you submit. You give Language Seva a limited permission to store, process and display that work as needed to deliver, assess and support the course.
9. Assessments and certificates
Scores, attendance and course-completion rules are applied as described on the course page. A certificate confirms completion of a Language Seva course; it is not a government degree, licence or professional accreditation unless a course expressly says otherwise. We may revoke a certificate issued because of fraud, identity misuse or a material grading error, with notice and an opportunity to respond.
10. Service availability
We work to keep the platform available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, internet failures, third-party services and events outside reasonable control may affect availability. We will use reasonable efforts to restore service and protect paid access.
11. Liability
Language learning outcomes depend on attendance, practice and individual circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by misuse of the platform, or third-party services outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for non-payment, serious or repeated breach, security risk or legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to correct the issue.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer dispute rights. Questions can be sent to languageseva90@gmail.com.
